MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I celebrate Christmas not because Christ was born today, the official date is uncertain. I celebrate Christmas because of his journey, teachings and the sacrifice of his own life for our sins. The priest who gave the sermon today, I wish I knew his name, reassured me of this. Glenn Beck puts into the simplest terms; “Christmas isn’t about the birth of the child, it’s about the death of the man”.

Jesus was persecuted not only because he was not the warrior king the Jews thought would come and save them but he also spoke the truth and empowered others. The Jewish leaders of the time couldn’t stand this and sought to silence Jesus. Once they tried everything within their law they went to Pontius Pilate. They lied and told him that Jesus was proclaiming himself king and not Caesar.

Pilate spoke with Jesus and saw no criminal. He saw a man simply speaking the truth but the pharisees wouldn’t leave him alone. Pilate left it up to the crowd to choose would be set free by displaying a condemned man, Barabbas, and Jesus in court. This was after Jesus was whipped within inches of his life. The crowd chooses Barabbas.

Jesus takes up the burden of the cross to the top of Golgotha, forgives those who have done this to him, promises paradise to a dying man and dies for our sins.

Three days later Jesus rises from death and empowers his disciples to spread the Good News. Death is not eternal so long as you accept Jesus as your savior and follow his law of Love.

Have a merry, safe and blessed Christmas.

Not “Yes we can” its Yes You Can!

There are people in the world today that say “You can’t do this, that or the other”. Political correctness is a large contributor to this notion. A notion that is complete and utter nonsense.

Political correctness is essentially the collectives control over the individual.

“You can’t say or do that because it’s not what we agree with or we’re offended by that”

So what. Cry me a river, build yourself a bridge and get over it.

I’ve had many conversations with people who have more of a collective mind set rather than an individual mind set when it comes to helping people. One conversation I had I said that government benefits should be strict. If you go on government assistants you should be take a drug test, if you pass you’re given six months to find a job or you’re cut off. The person I had this conversation with said that six months wasn’t enough time to find a job.

Horse hockey on that. I was fired from Target last November and started working at Home Depot in February earlier this year, part time and down the road I picked a second job part time job at Joseph A. Bank. When I got full time at Home Depot I quit Joseph A. bank.

Let no one, absolutely no one, tell you that you can’t do anything. If you ever hear some one say that to you or some one else you answer them with “Why can’t I?” or “What can’t they?”

You have the power to turn your life around.

You are responsible for your own actions.

You are the only person in the way of your own success.

Your background doesn’t matter.

People say you are born rich or poor and that couldn’t be further from the truth. You are born and you forge your own path. Sure you get help along the way, some guidance but in the end it’s all you.

Some of the most successful people had the hardest time growing up:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. Ben Carson
George Washington
Abraham Lincoln
Rev. Ken Hutchenson
Nelson Mandela

The list is endless I promise you that. These are only a few names for you to start with and research. Some of the names you’ll have to dig pretty deep to find the truth and when you do your world will change and only for the better.

Frank Sinatra sings one of my favorite songs; My Way. Here’s a you tube link for you to listen to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E2hYDIFDIU

Start standing for yourself and what you believe in.

Follow your dreams and work hard for those dreams.

Nothing worth while is given to you, you earn your keep.

Life’s journey is not always easy, more often than not it’s difficult. Hang in there, tough it out and you’ll be a stronger person for it.

Love.

I will never stop preaching Love. It’s as easy as being decent to others, especially when others are not decent to you. This shows others your positive standards and principles. Never stray from your principles or standards because you only start to dig your own hole.

Love

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/12/11/watch-the-amazing-way-a-black-woman-responds-to-hairstylist-at-harlem-barbershop-criticizing-man-over-his-white-girlfriend/

This is an amazing article from The Blaze. It’s about people standing up for others in the name of equality and love. Showing just how useless racism is.

One woman said, and I’m paraphrasing, if you hate we as a people fall back and if you love we as a people rise.

Love is the answer to all of our problems. Through simple acts of kindness and understanding We the People of not only America but of the World can make a difference one person at a time.

Amazing Story!

http://www.glennbeck.com/2013/12/05/glenn-has-best-radio-interview-of-the-year-with-an-11-year-old-girl/

This article/video from The Blaze is about an interview on the Glenn Beck Radio Program. Glenn interviews this amazing young lady named Madison Root. She is 11 years old and is already pursuing an entrepreneurial path.

Madison and her father went to her uncles farm where he grows mistletoe and cut down thousands. She is raising money for her braces all on her own will.

Read more in the article and watch the interview, it is awesome.

God bless Madison’s parents for instilling in her the meaning of reward through hard work.

Government Wasting More Of Your Money Through Obamacare

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/12/03/megyn-kelly-loses-it-over-huge-new-obamacare-problem-thats-your-money/

This report from Meghan Kelly talks about how the government health care web site doesn’t have a payment mechanism, meaning an electronic register for payments. The governments solution is to allow the insurance companies to estimate the cost of people’s health coverage and they’ll simply right them a check for it.

This president just gave a blank check to the insurance companies using We the People’s MONEY!

Revisit And Then Some

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FMNFvKEy4c

Revisit because I will wholesomely admit that my first opinion of the Charlie Chaplin “The Great Dictator” speech was not my own. I have thought about it and made my own opinion as I should have from the start.

I said it sounded socialistic only because I heard someone else say that. Listening to the speech more than a few more times I do not agree with that analysis anymore. The speech does talk about democracy, progress and doing away with national barriers and it does end with a “marxist” tune of “Unite!”, but here’s another way to look at it.

Between the first post with this video and now I have learned that We the Peoples nation is not only a Republic but a Democratic Republic. I have a bad habit of putting certain words into good or bad columns and that’s an unhealthy way to view words. As the sayings go; “Choose your words wisely”, “Think before you speak” and “Speak from the heart”.

Republics and democracies work well together especially within the United States Constitution. Majority rule by law, meaning We the People govern ourselves through Constitutional Law. That is Our democratic republic. Provided is a link of the Declaration of Independence where you can also find the Constitution and the Amendments:

http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/declaration.html

Glenn Beck simplifies this concept in one phrase, “Maximum Free and Maximum Responsibility”

The government has taken most of our freedom and responsibility away through taxation, regulation and welfare. Charlie said it perfectly, “Dictators free themselves and enslave the people”. Believe me or not but we are slaves and the chains are only getting tighter and heavier.

Charlie was speaking from the heart in his performance. When he talks of progress he’s doesn’t mean government progress which is control of the people he means human progress, real progress. Micro Soft, Apple, Google and Face Book all too leaps and bounds into technology and have changed the world over for the better of humanity without government to over see them or regulate their actions. Yes, some of them I have mentioned crony capitalist (capitalist in bed with the government), before they changed they were capitalist.

Recently I told my mom of the private sectors efforts of space exploration, entrepreneurship and innovation. She replies back that government is the only way to get space anything down correctly. What she doesn’t realize is that back in the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s government were only ones capable to fund, research and execute missions and experiments. It was America vs Russia in the great race to space and then the moon. In the ’90s, when Soviet Russia was no more, there was the Mir Space Station. Russians and Americans working together for a common cause.

The private sector had no reason to enter the space market. Until now. Now the United States has all but abolished NASA. We borrow space crafts from Russia because ours are out of commission. Mom says to pour more money into NASA. Well we don’t have the money, the private sector does. In the private sector there is competition and where’s there is competition there is innovation.

America Doesn’t have competition anymore. The private sector will always have competition.

This blogs message, if you couldn’t tell by the picture LoL, is dream, Dream Big and Work Hard for that dream.

Each of us has a dream, be it from childhood, a few years ago or a brand new one today. Follow that dream and any obstacles in your way, and believe me there will be plenty, over come them. Whether the problem is big or small, difficult or easy over come it. In hard work comes great reward.

You read any success story and there is always hardship, failure, obstacles and yes even pain both physical and emotional. The determined individual always prevails though, always comes out on top. They see failures as learning, obstacles as goals and hardships as wins. Success will always be yours if you work for it.

The last link is Jiminy Cricket singing “When You Wish Upon  A Star”. Great Disney song about following your dreams.

Follow you dreams, work hard, think, fear nothing, risk all and triumph. The only person in your way is you.
